Resonance All Swords — Perks, Locations & Missables

Every sword in Resonance: eight Heroes' Graves blades plus optional Heritage Pack Hero's Blade, with perks and chapter locations.

Sword Collectible Overview

Resonance has eight Heroes' Graves blades plus optional Heritage Pack Hero's Blade. Plunderer and Adaptable only need the eight in-game swords. Chapter Select still awards blades, artefacts, and charms — Resonance Points are the only collectible that will not follow you backward.

Perks change stagger, Focus gain, shield breaks, and whether you can block. Pair them with the six mastery branches in the skill tree guide. The live table lives on the skill tree reference.

Rusty Sword is story in Chapter I. Falchion is story in Chapter II. Kopis, Greek Sword, Sica, Khopesh, Broken Spear, and Xiphos sit in sphere tombs from Chapters IV through X. Hero's Blade arrives with the pack in Chapter II and can be ignored for trophies.

Missable Sword Mechanics

Tomb doors sit off the critical path. Sweep before fortress gates, creature chases, and arena locks. If you skip a grave, reload that chapter from Chapter Select, open the tomb, then quit to the menu — the blade still counts.

Notebook marks and cloth trails often point at graves. Sphere color puzzles open the lids. Full routing sits in the collectibles hub and the notebook clues page.

Adaptable needs one kill with each of the eight graves blades. You cannot swap mid-fight. Farm Chapter V battle grounds: kill, checkpoint restart, swap, repeat.

Known Swords and Perks

Rusty Sword has no perk — keep it equipped if you are farming Untouchable, which unlocks more reliably with that blade on Nightmare plus Invincible Mode.

Hero's Blade is Heritage Pack DLC documented on the Heritage Pack page. It is not needed for 100% trophies. If Adaptable sticks, uninstall the pack from Manage Game Content, finish the eight kills, then reinstall.

Xiphos disables blocking in exchange for extra parry stun. Greek Sword turns criticals into a spin and drops the dagger finisher. Sica feeds the Focus gauge. Broken Spear sprint-attacks pierce shields. Exact perks are on the reference table.

Sword and Combat Integration

Equipping a new sword immediately changes combat feel — test each blade against standard soldiers before committing to a build. Parry-focused swords feel sluggish on combo builds; speed swords may sacrifice critical damage that boss encounters demand.

Combine sword perks with combat skills like Echo's Return, Bullbreaker Kick, and Heroic Surge for cohesive builds. The combat weapons guide covers combo mechanics that interact with sword perks, while the parry system guide explains how parry-window perks change defensive timing.

Perk and Playstyle Matching

Parry-focused players: seek swords extending yellow-indicator windows paired with Heroic Surge and Echo's Return from the skill tree reference. Aggressive combo players: Falchion crit-follow-up perk with Bullbreaker Kick guard breaks. Crowd controllers: Kopis stun finishers with grappling hook archer pulls from our grappling guide.

Swap swords at checkpoints before known challenge types — preview chapter 5 boss encounters reward sustained DPS and defensive skills over exploration-oriented blade perks optimized for optional content rather than mandatory story combat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many swords are missable?

None permanently. Chapter Select still counts Heroes' Graves blades. Resonance Points are the missable set.

Can I switch swords freely?

Yes, from Sophia → Blades outside combat. You cannot swap during a fight.

Is Hero's Blade missable?

It is DLC, not a world pickup. Skip it for trophies.

Do sword perks stack with skill tree abilities?

Yes. Perks sit on the blade; masteries sit on the tree.

Where are the eight graves?

Chapters I–II story blades, then tombs in IV, V, VI, VII, IX, and X. See the table on the skill reference page.

Do swords affect puzzle mechanics?

Standard swords do not. Some artifacts may enhance puzzle interactions — see our artifacts guide.
