Resonance on Steam Deck — 30 FPS, Battery, Chapter 9 Crash

Steam Deck and SteamOS notes for Resonance: Low + FSR ~25–30 FPS, ~90 minute battery, Chapter 9 crash reports.

Playable, not recommended for a first 100%

Steam Deck HQ: most of the campaign holds a 30 FPS cap on Low with FSR, with CPU spikes and hitching. Worthplaying’s LCD Deck numbers sit nearer 25 FPS with FSR frame generation at 1280×800, about 90 minutes per charge. Textures can go Medium; everything else wants to stay down.

The blocker is a hard crash at the start of Chapter IX after the cutscene, also seen on some Steam Machines. Reload sometimes continues, sometimes loops. Proton Experimental is the first thing to try; there is no official Deck verification badge to hide behind. If you soft-lock, finish that beat on a desktop client and copy the save back.

Input and install

75 GB. Use the official layout; parry wants a bumper, not a trackpad click. Cloud saves through Steam, not Xbox Play Anywhere. Specs hub: system requirements.
