Puzzle systems as shipped: Minoan Sphere, colour tombs, Light Concentrate in Chapter X, Petrified light rooms.
No rats, a lot of lamps
The sphere starts as a beam, gains colour splits, then Light Concentrate (a laser) in Chapter X. Tombs ask you to stand on metal circles and paint red / green / blue receptors. Mirrors still bounce white light in the early island. Notebook sketches help; they are not auto-solves.
Late puzzles mix Petrified, pressure plates, and burning blue growths. Sphere mode is not a combat stance — clear rooms first. Details: sphere, light, notebook.
