Resonance Difficulty — Narrative, Nightmare, and Invincible Mode
Difficulty settings for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Trophies work on Narrative. Invincible Mode location, and when to switch to Nightmare.
Trophies do not gate difficulty
You can platinum on Narrative, the easiest story setting. Invincible Mode is a separate toggle under Settings → General → Difficulty & Invincible Mode. Turn it on for combat farms; it does not void trophies.
The exception is reliability, not eligibility. Untouchable (six parries in a row) is glitchy on lower difficulties. Farm it on Nightmare with Invincible Mode on and the Rusty Sword equipped, on the Chapter X bridge. Excessive force needs a Corrupted grab — Narrative auto-dodges grabs, so use Nightmare there too and leave the puppet's head on.
When to change sliders
Stay on Narrative plus invincibility for the 165-point story run and for bottle / kick / Focus farms in Chapter V. Switch to Nightmare only for Untouchable and Excessive force, then switch back. Difficulty can be changed at any time.
There is no New Game+. One autosave and six profile slots. Full trophy farms: trophy roadmap.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Nightmare for platinum?
No. Narrative is valid. Two combat trophies are simply more consistent on Nightmare with invincibility on.
Where is Invincible Mode?
Settings → General → Difficulty & Invincible Mode.
Does invincibility disable trophies?
No.
Why does Untouchable not pop?
Use Nightmare, Invincible Mode, Rusty Sword, and a long parry string on the Chapter X bridge.
