Official Minimum Specs

1080p Low, 30 FPS: Windows 10/11 64-bit, Ryzen 3 3100 or Core i3-12100 (4 cores / 8 threads), 16 GB RAM, 6 GB VRAM (RX 5500 XT or GTX 1060), DirectX 12, 75 GB SSD.

Combat still works at 30 FPS, but yellow and red parry windows feel cleaner at a locked 60. Install on SSD only.

PC control configuration appears on our PC controls page regardless of hardware tier.

Official Recommended Specs

1080p Ultra, 60 FPS: Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-12400F, 16 GB RAM, 8 GB VRAM (RX 6700 XT or RTX 3060 Ti), same 75 GB SSD and DX12 notes.

Drop shadows and volumetric fog before textures if you miss 60. Steam Deck is not on the official sheet — start Low / 30 FPS and expect the full 75 GB install.

Xbox Play Anywhere / Game Pass PC uses the Microsoft Store build. Steam and Epic saves do not mix with that library.

Platform Alternatives

Players without gaming PCs can access Resonance through PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or Xbox Game Pass including cloud streaming. Console versions target 60fps at dynamic 4K without hardware configuration concerns.

Xbox Game Pass PC provides access without evaluating personal hardware against spec sheets — see our Game Pass page. Track launch with our countdown tool.

Performance Optimization Tips

Regardless of final specs, SSD installation dramatically reduces load times between Minotaur's Island zones. Update GPU drivers before August 27 launch day. Close background applications during first sessions to establish baseline performance before adjusting graphics settings.

Parry timing in combat benefits from stable 60fps — prioritize frame rate over maximum resolution on both PC and console when choosing quality versus performance modes if Asobo offers such toggles following Requiem patterns.

Monitor this page for official spec updates from Asobo Studio expected in July or August 2026. Cross-reference release platforms and PC controls while awaiting confirmation.

Handheld PC users should expect reduced settings at launch until Asobo confirms Steam Deck or ROG Ally optimization — cloud streaming via Game Pass Ultimate offers an alternative when local hardware falls below anticipated minimum specifications.
