Resonance PC Optimization — Settings, Specs, and 60 FPS
PC settings for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Official Steam specs, SSD requirement, DX12, and practical Ultra vs Low presets.
Official Steam requirements
Minimum (1080p Low, 30 FPS): Windows 10/11 64-bit, Ryzen 3 3100 or Core i3-12100, 16 GB RAM, 6 GB VRAM (RX 5500 XT / GTX 1060), DirectX 12, 75 GB SSD. CPU must be 4 cores / 8 threads. GPU needs DX12.1 and Shader Model 6.6.
Recommended (1080p Ultra, 60 FPS): Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-12400F, 16 GB RAM, 8 GB VRAM (RX 6700 XT / RTX 3060 Ti), same storage and API notes. HDD is not supported.
Settings that actually matter
Cap the frame rate to your display and leave vsync to the driver if you see hitching. Drop shadows and volumetric fog before cutting textures — Asobo's island lighting is the expensive part. If parries feel late, disable extra motion blur and play at a locked 60; the yellow/red windows assume that cadence.
Steam Deck is not in the official spec sheet. Handheld players should start on Low, 30 FPS, and expect the 75 GB install. Xbox Play Anywhere / Game Pass PC uses the Microsoft Store build; Steam and Epic saves do not mix with that library.
Full tables remain on the system requirements page. Keyboard binds: PC controls.
